Tensegrity Practices

Transform your day-to-day activities into self-healing therapy.

Tensegrity defined: equal distribution of weight throughout the body. Integrity of the tension throughout the body, the perfect amount of push and pull on your skeletal structure to allow stability, flexibility and movement to coexist. It is your body’s innate ability to be strong and flexible in all movement. Tensegrity is important for proper ergonomic movement and it is also the foundation for sports and Yoga-type activities. Read more about tensegrity here.

Practice defined: habitual or customary performance, repeated performance or systematic exercise for the purpose of acquiring skill or proficiency, condition arrived at by experience or exercise.

1. Beginning with our Foundational Movement Practices (FMP) your doctor will help you maximize the self-healing potential unlocked by the NUCCA correction. You will learn basic movements to give you a better understanding of your powerful role in your own care. A thorough knowledge of FMPs will advance you to the next phase: Tensegrity Principles.

2. Given a bit of time, Tensegrity Principles ingrain balance and proper movement into your daily life, transforming everyday activities into self-healing therapy. That’s when your knowledge expands and you have a firm grasp of why and how it works.

3. InTensegrity Procedures incorporate the FMPs and principles you already know into your day-to-day activities and movements. The practices and procedures work together to retrain your muscle memory for optimal balance. It will become more natural for you to find proper posture and movement.
