Mary Holmquist is a licensed Massage Therapist, certified in Swedish massage with specializations in Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy and Thai and Sports Massage. She received her massage therapy degree from the New School for Massage, Bodywork, and Healing and is pursuing advanced training in CranialSacral Therapy. Mary practices meditation and has been for eight years. She facilitates a weekly group and promotes the integration of meditation techniques with her clients.
Mary's interest in massage developed from her own experience as the bodywork she received liberated her from chronic pain and asymmetrical posture while deepening self understanding. Her passion is to help others correct chronic patterns, recover from injuries and harness newly available energy to enhance performance, increase freedom of movement and deepen self awareness.
